Satsang

Traditionally Satsang means a meeting in Truth, Love and Freedom.

"Become quiet, let go of your
daily drama, look deeply inside
and discover the subtle Truth
that has always been present." -
Premananda

Satsang is a celebration of Presence.

"Presence is simple.
Presence is that which is, when thought is no longer there.
Presence is also Love. For when there is nothing to block we are Love.
Presence is also Freedom because when mind is quiet there is nothing to take us away from this moment now.
So keep coming back to the source from which everything arises."
Premananda

In Satsang we experience a profound connection to the stillness within ourselves. Arising from this stillness we experience a deep sense of peace and bliss that simply wells up from within. For no reason at all.

"Through years and years of not understanding, not Knowing, and at the same time, having inside ourselves some sense of almostKnowing,or of a knowledge that had been known and since lost, we have been searching." Premananda

Satsang is the experiencing, that in fact, we are uniquely connected to everything. There is no separation. We are one with the whole existence.

POONJAJI (Papaji)
1910 - 1997

Poonjaji (Papaji)

Papaji is the Lion of Lucknow who roared and woke us up out of our deep slumber.

In the last years of his long life countless seekers realised the Eternal Self at his daily Satsang amidst gales of laughter, tempered by the awareness that at any moment the sword could strike.

"Only the Truth is and you are That!
You are the unchanging awareness in which all activity takes place.
To deny this is to suffer, to know this is Freedom."

SRI RAMANA MAHARSHI
1879 - 1950

Ramana MaharshiAt the age of 17 Ramana Maharshi experienced a spontaneous awakening. He travels to Arunachala where he spends his whole life. Hismost profound teaching is silence. However he is well known for the question "Who am I?"

"The pure Self is not realised unless the mind subsides. The mind is nothing but a bundle of thoughts and the first and foremost of all thoughts is the primal "I" thought. Therefore only through the enquiry "Who am I"? does the mind subside. To keep the mindconstantly turned within and to abide thus in the Self is alone Self enquiry."

OSHO
1931 - 1990

Osho

The fifteen years spent with Osho were richly productive, taking a yuppy architect on a journey inside through meditation and transformational workshops, much was understood. Osho was left sweetly one night by laying a rose on the Buddha Hall podium, the heart of the ashram.
