| This intimate film was made at a Satsang Retreat that took place in Byron Bay, Australia, Easter 2000. It reveals Satsang to be Truth, Love and Freedom. The film captures the essence of premananda's style of spiritual teaching. Vividly it traces the transformation of five participants as they meet with premananda. He gently leads them on an inner journey, together facing issues of fear, low self esteem, abuse, relationship, the mind and love. With infinite patience he encourages each person to let go of their past and stay present in the here and now, letting their lives unfold spontaneously. He subtly transmits the Truth through his presence. |

I find a lot of premananda's simple and gentle instruction helpful, particularly his reminder to take a 'moment' just to be present, and his reminder to 'play'.... I was very moved to see the retreat participants going through whatever they were going through - their struggles, their pain and their rawness - it's inspiring and a priviledge to be allowed to see it.
